The report from the 2025 Atlantic and Indian Oceans Regional Mapping Community Meeting is now available to download.

Held virtually from 14–16 January 2025, the meeting convened over 100 participants from 45 countries – doubling the number of represented countries since 2023 – to share progress, challenges, and collaborative strategies to advance ocean floor mapping in support of Seabed 2030.

Over three days, attendees explored the latest developments in bathymetric tools and workflows, discussed regional mapping priorities and highlighted the importance of strengthening cross-sector partnerships. The agenda included updates from the Regional Center as well as technical insights into the IHO-DCDB role in advancing seafloor mapping.
