During the 2019 Fall AGU Conference, a session entitled Beyond Hydrography: Seafloor Mapping as Critical Data for Understanding Our Oceans highlights some of the many uses of bathymetry and seabed mapping data. Co-convened by Atlantic-Indian Oceans Regional Center Head, Vicki Ferrini, the session includes a presentation by several Nippon Foundation – GEBCO Posgraduate Training Program and led by Alumnus and Data Manager for the regional center, Ms Tinah Martin.
