Seabed 2030 Data Sprint
The Data Sprint is an in-person session designed to accelerate the preparation and integration of bathymetric data.
Participants will work with a variety of tools and processing approaches while preparing metadata and documentation, addressing formatting and interoperability challenges, and learning best practices for data preparation and submission.
Attendees are encouraged to bring datasets they are willing to prepare for eventual integration and contribution. For those without datasets available, datasets and workflows will be provided.
To help tailor the workshop agenda and maximise outcomes, participants are asked to provide information on the datasets they intend to bring, their data formats and processing status, software tools typically used, and any specific technical challenges or goals as part of the registration process.
Ahead of the meeting, optional virtual sessions will introduce relevant tools and workflows, provide guidance on dataset preparation, and ensure participants arrive ready to make the most of the in-person collaboration.
